Former President Carter says President Bush's administration is "the worst in history" in international relations, taking aim at the White House's policy of pre-emptive war and its Middle East diplomacy.

The judgment of anyone that supported Bush must now be judged very suspect, so their judgment of Carter is very very suspect....

He has got just about everything wrong. Only a fool would enter a contest between these two candidates - one a man peace and the other a warmonger. But then you did vote for him, twice, so ...

Just count the bodies. And for why? Is the US or World safer. Read and weep.

The primary judgment on any American president, and certainly this one, is as commander-in-chief. We know Bush likes to dress the part but that alone does not cut it. If he had spent less time holding up a bar while avoiding his duty while others served, then as president he might not have been so willing to put American lives on the line.

It would also have made the world safer for the rest of us who prefer a peaceful world and are not warmongers. Invading Iraq was illegal with consequences. Now it is too late. Hopefully he does not make it worse in Iran before he goes.
